How to calculate the fuel consumption by fuel consumption flow meter? 

Some question from customers.

Pls check my answers in red:

1. How you calculation the fuel consumption , because we measurement only the fuel from the tank to the engine. how about the return the Diesel fuel from the engine to the Tank.

should I install to Flow meter ? one for the fuel from the tank to the engine and from the engine to the tank ?


Pls see the installation diagram,the flow meter calculate the fuel consumption from the tank,only one flow meter is ok,because it has the return fuel adjustor.Change the return diesel fuel from the engine to the return fuel adjustor,the return fuel adjustor lead the return fuel to the engine again,because changed the return fuel line.The return fuel adjustor can make the air out.No fuel to the tank,so only one flow meter can calculate the fuel consumption of vehicles,boats, generators, construction machine, burner, boiler, local motive etc.

2. what is the function of the this :

The function is let the return fuel from engine to the supply line again.
one for the fuel from the tank to the engine and one from the engine to the tank are old way to measuring the fuel consumption flow meter.
Now one flow meter and one return fuel adjustor are more suitable for application of fuel consumption.
